GAME/SWEEPSTAKES OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE U.S.
AGES 13-19
US LAWS GOVERN THIS GAME/SWEEPSTAKES
VOID IN PUERTO RICO AND WHERE PROHIBITED

1. No Purchase Necessary. The Southpole Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 AM ET 3/04/05 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET 7/01/05. ("Promotion Period").
2. HOW TO PLAY: To enter, log onto the Southpole Sweepstakes Web site at www.collegebound.net/southpole anytime during the Promotion Period, and click on the registration button. Complete the registration page including your name, birth date, e-mail address, address, phone, name of school attending and graduation date. This will automatically enter you into the random drawing for the Grand Prize. All prizes must be claimed within 10 days of winner notification or entry will be void and another winner selected. Limit one entry per person. Use of any automated entry software is prohibited. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, human error or technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any computer equipment or software, or any combination thereof, or for lost, stolen, late, illegible, misdirected, entries or mail.
3. Prizes and Odds of Winning: Sweepstakes Prize: (1) Grand Prize: winner will receive $1,000 scholarship, Southpole wardrobe worth $500, and a Southpole and CB Teen gift basket worth approximately $50. (2) First Prizes: Three (3) first prize winners will receive $150 worth of Southpole apparel. (3) Runner-Ups: Ten 10 runners-up will receive a Southpole and CB Teen gift basket worth approximately $50. Odds of winning a prize depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
4. Grand Prize/Second Chance Drawing: On or about 7/14/05, from all eligible entries received, a random drawing will be conducted and any unclaimed Grand, First Runner-up prizes (Second Chance Drawing). The estimated odds of winning in the Second Chance Drawing are dependent upon the actual number of entries received and the actual number of unclaimed prizes. All sweepstakes drawings will be conducted under the supervision of CollegeBound Network, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this sweepstakes.
5. Notification: All Grand, First and Runner-Up prizes will be awarded. Winners will be notified by U.S. mail, e-mail and/or phone. If the Grand Prize winner is under the age of 18 he/she will be required to have their Parent/Legal Guardian complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and, where legal, a Publicity Release, which must be returned within 14 days after issuance of prize notification or the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. If the letter of notification is returned from the post office as undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
6. Prize Restrictions: Limit one prize per user name/person. Prizes are non-transferable, no substitutions or cash equivalents allowed, except at the discretion of the Sponsor. Taxes, and all other expenses not specified herein, if any, are the responsibility of the winner. Allow 2-4 weeks from receipt of Affidavit and Release for prize delivery. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these rules, and consent to use of their names and/or photographs for advertising or publicity purposes without further consideration, except where prohibited by law. Winners release Sponsor and Promoter, their respective employees, directors, officers and agents, and subsidiary and affiliated companies from any and all claims or liability in connection with participation in this promotion, or acceptance or use of any prize. No more than the listed number of prizes will be awarded.
7. Internet: If for any reason this game/sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this game/sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the game and/or sweepstakes in whole or in part, at any time, without notice and award the prizes using all non-suspect eligible entries received as of this termination date. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this game/sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this game/sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON (S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Entry can only be made via one e-mail address per person. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
8. Eligibility: This promotion is open to legal U.S. residents ages 13 - 19 as of 3/04/05. Employees or agents of Sponsor and Promoter, their subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, advertising agencies, and members of their immediate families, including their respective household members, are not eligible. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law. This promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations.
9. Winner's List: For the names of the Grand, First and Runner-up prize winners, available after August 1, 2005, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: The CollegeBound Network c/o Southpole Sweepstakes, 1200 South Avenue, Suite 202, Staten Island, NY 10314.
