Luciano RammaironeChairman & President
When Luciano Rammairone founded The CollegeBound Network (CBN) upon his college graduation, little did he know he’d still be focused on school and degrees more than 25 years later. With a bachelor’s of business administration in finance from Pace University, New York, NY, Rammairone entered a one-year management training program at Chemical Bank. As many entrepreneurial spirits quickly discover, he had a passion that longed to break free of the boundaries of structured business. That’s why in 1988, Rammairone conceived and built his first business, College Bound Magazine, a publication written specifically for high school students by college students. Within a decade, the magazine developed into a multimedia company called The CollegeBound Network, which included national and regional editions of CollegeBound Teen Magazine, a direct mail product called CollegeBound StudentPak, CollegeBound Expo events, and The CollegeBound online network of websites. Now, with more than 15 sites dedicated to various niches of higher education opportunities, The CollegeBound Network is a leader in providing resources and information on more than 1,000 colleges, universities, and career schools nationwide and abroad. With the recent marking of The CollegeBound Network’s 22nd anniversary, Luciano Rammairone remains committed to managing a company that serves as an easy and efficient liaison between schools and students. In fact, as of 2010, over 36 million visitors visited CBN sites annually. CBN’s founder and leader has continued to evolve the company and shape the landscape of education lead generation through various projects, including building and later helping lead the sale of ClassesUSA.com to Experian in 2005. In 2007 CBN became the first education Internet company to offer call-in customer support across all areas of its education portals. Since its inception, Luciano Rammairone has remained the company’s chairman and president, leading a team of 400+ passionate media employees who follow his example of working hard to creatively find ways to better serve students and schools. |
