Will Power

WILL ROTHHAAR isn't your typical 18-year-old, and not just because he played Mickey Kleinman, the son of "Seinfeld"-alum JASON ALEXANDER on the TV show "Listen Up."
Let's begin with school. Will attends Hamilton Academy of Music (Los Angeles, CA). The Hamilton Academy of Music is a performing arts school that even he admits is a little out of the ordinary. "Hamilton is different," he says. "You catch a dude with a massive pink mohawk walking down the hall, and then he's sitting there playing first cello. Everybody here is so unique -- it's definitely different than your average high school."
Next up? Will's extracurricular roles, which, in addition to actor, include soccer player, poet, tap dancer, and lead vocalist in a Brazilian samba group. "We play a lot of religious drumming from Brazil and Cuba, plus samba and reggae," Will explains. What makes the group even more extraordinary is the racial mix of its members. "I'm the only white guy in the group," Will notes. "Four are black, and one is from El Salvador. We're all different ages, from different walks of life. The main thing we try to bring out [as a band] is love for everybody as a human race."
Topping off Will's eccentric resume are his college plans. The multi-talented teen applied to The Juilliard School (New York, NY), The Boston Conservatory (Boston, MA), and the American University of Paris, with plans to major in music and performing arts. "I don't hold my passions above or below one another - they're all at the same level for me," he says of his decision to double-major. "I want to pursue every single one of them."
So, is there anything ordinary about this Renaissance teen's life? "I have a messy room," he jokes. "But I keep my personal and private life separate. I get off [work] at 4 p.m. and I'm just Will.
