This may be hard to believe, but  

GEORGE STUTTS

 , who plays Kevin Kinkirk on the WB's hit show "7th Heaven," never knew he wanted to become an actor. That is, not until he transferred colleges and had a little bit of good luck come his way.

You might say that George was bit by the acting bug back in high school when he and his brother Geoff decided to try out for school plays. "Though we were athletes, we noticed all the hot girls were doing the musicals. My brother claims I came up with the idea of auditioning. My junior and senior year, I did musicals. I sang and danced and had a great time!"

But when George headed off to college, it was his love of wrestling that consumed his time. A student at the University of Southern Colorado (Pueblo, CO), George was a member of the wrestling team, as well as a biology major. Later in his college career, he switched his major to exercise science.

With plans of becoming a Navy Seal, George transferred to Whittier College (Whittier, CA) right before his senior year. "When I got there, I still wasn't absolutely sure what I wanted to do. My parents always taught me to do something I enjoy, and everything will work out."

As luck would have it, the kinesiology and exercise science graduate was discovered by a talent agent while dining with a friend at a restaurant in Hollywood. "Acting was the last thing I thought I would be doing," George recalls. But he decided to give the agent a call. The rest, as they say, is history.

If he had it to do all over again, George says he wouldn't change a thing, especially pursuing his educational endeavors.

"When I entered college, I didn't know what I wanted to do. I have had a lot of great experiences and still, to this day, have a lot of great relationships with friends I made in school. I'm glad I got my degree."
