A Denver College is a Dose of Fun

by Genevieve M. Blaber
The cheeseburger may be a staple in any high schooler's diet, but being a College student in the city where it was patented is a real tasty dish. Attending a college in Denver, Colorado, not only provides students with a solid education, but with a fun time as well. Just bring your curiosity and sense of adventure, and the city of Denver will provide the rest.

Creeping Through Caves
Whether you're a

Denver college

student with some downtime or an aspiring spelunker, make sure to visit the city's Cave of Winds. Here sightseers can choose one of three tours to guide them through the long stretches of cave that have been a Denver mainstay for centuries. Denver university students who feel up to a challenge, as well as learning something new, can take the Lantern Tour. For over an hour, visitors are led through the caves, armed with a lantern each, while their tour guide enthralls them with the history, folklore, and unexplained phenomena linked to the cave.

Become a Museum Maven
Every kid has suffered through a dull museum, but students at Denver colleges are able to enjoy unique museums that are sure to pique anyone's interest. Fans of cowboy lore and movies should check out the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave, where they can see the famous cowboy show outfits, his grave, and even the bow and arrows of Sitting Bull. History buffs will enjoy the Molly Brown House Museum, which is dedicated to preserving the memory of the actress known as "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" after she survived the sinking of the Titanic in 1912. There's also the Forney Museum of Transportation, for auto enthusiasts interested in taking a gander at everything from carriages to cars to locomotives.

Students who are attending Denver universities already know about the great things the city has to offer. If you're considering a college in Denver, Colorado then do some more research into everything the city has to offer. An education doesn't end in the classroom of a Denver college, but extends throughout the entire city.
