Horology is the art and science of timekeeping. The School of Horology teaches watch and clockmaking repair and restoration. There is a dire need for watch repair technicians in the United States. The School prepares students for positions with high-end companies, in need of watchmakers who understand luxury mechanical watches and the School prepares students for the challenges of smaller, local businesses. Very few schools in the United States provide instruction in clockmaking. The school prepares students to work in the field as small business owners or to meet the challenges of larger repair shops.
