At Paramount Academy we are dedicated to delivering the best cosmetology programs of all the beauty schools in Texas; training students in the fields of Cosmetology and Esthetics to their highest potential, exceeding the state's requirements for preparing them, and placing them in high demand for employment in those fields.

Cosmetology Programs offered at Paramount Academy
Our Cosmetology Program includes the study of Hair, Skin & Nails, broken down into several phases, making the learning process smooth & seamless. We really like to focus on current trends and making sure that you are not bogged down by old time state requirements. While state requirements are part of our program, they're not our focus. We make sure that you get what the state says you have to have, but then we push you two steps further, making sure that you are the most prepared stylist you can be after you graduate from school, and hopefully, you'll have those experienced stylists coming to you to ask questions, instead of the other way around. You'll start out in our "start" phase, where you'll learn all the basics necessary to start working with clients, and performing services. In our "perfect" phase, you'll continue to expand on what you already learned, developing and fine tuning your skills. Finally our "advance" phase, where you'll continue to work on what you already know and take our advanced courses, really focusing on making you the best you can be. Our Esthetics Program is designed to produce "cream of the crop" Estheticians. We start by teaching you the fundamentals of skin care. Then we move into treatments, and finally our advanced program, which lets you learn some of the more advanced treatments used in the Esthetics industry today. We don't want you to walk out of school knowing the basics, we want you to graduate from school knowing what's out there, and being capable of walking right in to a spa knowing everything that you need to take care of people and their skin. Our Instructor Program is the most information filled program we could find. Focusing on teaching you "How to teach with why". It is important to students to understand why they are doing things the way they are, and as a student, you'll find out how important that is. Farouk Systems, which is the company that makes CHI® & Biosilk, manufactures high quality professional hair care and spa products - free of harsh chemicals. The color that we use is ammonia free, which makes it actually have a pleasant odor. Farouk also sends educators to Paramount regularly to educate our students on some of the latest trends & new information.
Murad®, developed by Dr. Howard Murad, has targeted formulas to alleviate the most frustrating skin concerns, and has focus on skin care both internally and externally. They also send educators to our school to help us in educating our students.
MAC Cosmetics, makes some of the best makeup currently available today. They also provide educational programs that help us in teaching our students.
