About Orange County Public Schools Career and Technical Education

For more than 70 years, Orange County Public School’s Career and Technical Education (OCPS CTE) Department has provided diverse, convenient and affordable educational and training opportunities in three areas:
  • Career Training (More than 100 career training programs prepare you for immediate entry into a top paying career!)
  • Adult/Community Education (Basic Skills, GED, ESOL, Personal Enrichment)
  • Continuing Education (Workshops, Seminars and Industry Specific Programs)
We have four separate technical institutes (Mid Florida Tech, Orlando Tech, Westside Tech and Winter Park Tech) serving more than 25,000 adult students each year. We offer students low tuition, diverse financial aid, a unique hands-on learning environment and quality programs meeting high accreditation standards.
