> Master of Science in Computer Science

The Master of Science in Computer Science program extends Neumont’s mission to educate the most sought-after software developers to students who already possess a Bachelor’s degree. Neumont’s curriculum places emphasis on information modeling, model driven development, and business rules. Focused on the needs of employers, graduates of the MSCS program will be prepared for roles in organizations seeking to utilize leading-edge technologies that lie on the boundary of research and commercial application.

The program has been designed with flexibility in mind. Students can engage with the program in many ways and can choose from a range of course combinations to target their specific interests. Neumont offers various modes of engagement to accommodate the practicalities of working life. Many potential students will be obliged to balance the competing demands of work and study, and so the program can be completed wholly full time, wholly part time, or some intermediate combination to suit the student's circumstances. Each quarter, you can engage with the program in one of three ways:

Full time - You will spend the equivalent of a normal full-time working week engaged in MSCS activities on the University campus. On this plan, you can complete the program in 4 quarters.

Half time - You will spend 50% of a normal working week engaged in MSCS activities on the University campus. The remainder of your time would be free to pursue other activities, such as a part-time job. On this plan, you can complete the program in 6 quarters.

• Part time- You will attend Lecture courses and Seminars on the University campus at times outside the normal working week (i.e., evenings or weekends). Other activities will take place at a time and place best suited to you. For example, you will be engaged in job-related MSCS project work at your place of employment. On this plan, you can complete the program in 8 quarters.
