Computer Networking with Emerging Technologies
The Associate of Science Degree in Computer Networking with Emerging Technologies Program provides instruction in various network designs, computer-related equipment, network management, systems and application software. In addition, the program will introduce the student to exciting emerging technologies; such as, network security, wireless networks, Voice Over IP, and remote network management. This program offers course work designed to train the network administrator in standard networking principles as well as new and emerging technologies. Medical Assisting
This program trains students to become multi-skilled professionals who assist physicians. Students will learn to perform duties under the direction of a physician in all areas of medical practice. In addition to learning the clinical aspects of the career, students will learn how to function in an administrative capacity at the medical office. A degree will be awarded upon successful completion of this program.

Pharmacy Technology
This program provides instruction in how to assist the pharmacist in the packing and distribution of medication. Graduates can find employment in hospitals (private and government), nursing care facilities, private and chain drug stores, drug manufactures, wholesale drug houses and health maintenance organizations. Students will also study the professional and technical skills necessary for direct employment as a pharmacy technician. A degree will be awarded upon successful completion of this program.

Spa Management
This program provides instruction in how to effectively run, manage, and direct all operations involved in a spa establishment. This includes but is not limited to human resources, retailing, customer service, accounting, and marketing. In addition to the business aspects, graduates will be trained in skin care, aromatherapy, spa treatments, cosmetics and color theory; to effectively serve as role models and team leaders for their employees. This program is designed to prepare students for career opportunities in the spa and spa related fields and includes a general education component which complements the comprehensive skills. A degree will be awarded upon successful completion of this program.

Surgical Technology
The Surgical Technology program provides students with the technical ability, knowledge, and skills required for entry-level employment as a member of the healthcare team in hospital or surgical center operating rooms. Students receive training in the essentials of healthcare, surgical instrumentation, anatomy, physiology, medical language and pharmacology. Graduates will be prepared for employment as a Surgical Technologist. A degree will be awarded upon successful completion of this program.

Emergency Medical Services
Emergency Medical Services is an Associate of Science Degree program which encompasses two occupational opportunities, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Paramedic. Most students complete this program in units; starting with the EMT-B Diploma Program, then proceeding to the Paramedic Diploma program, and finally completing the additional general education courses required for the Associate of Science Degree in Emergency Medical Services. In addition, the Associate of Science Degree in Emergency Medical Services program is designed for certified, professionally employed paramedics who want to pursue a degree. A degree will be awarded upon successful completion of this program.

Students receive training in hydrotherapy, massage law, the prevention of medical errors, and allied modalities. Graduates will be prepared for employment as a Massage Therapist. RN Bridge
The Registered Nurse Bridge Program is designed to prepare the student for a career as a professional nurse. The program is designed to enable individuals who are currently in the Practical Nursing profession to study to become Registered Nurses. Students are prepared as Registered Nurses for a variety of careers in nursing and health care fields, and incorporates students' previous nursing training into the program requirements. An associate degree in nursing will be awarded upon successful completion of this program.

Diagnostic Medical Sonography
The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Technology Program presents an integration of didactic, laboratory and clinical experiences. The program prepares students to function as entry-level diagnostic medical sonographers. Sonographers are highly skilled professionals qualified to provide patient services using diagnostic techniques under the supervision of a licensed doctor of medicine or osteopathy and assist physicians in gathering data necessary to reach diagnostic decisions.

This program is intended for those who wish to gain employment in medical billing and health information management in either the public or private sector, including positions in the offices of private physicians, hospitals, and medical centers. Students will develop a thorough knowledge of medical terminology, health records management, insurance procedures and billing software, medical coding, as well as skills in business communications and office administration that are vital for success in this growing field. Paramedic
Paramedics are highly trained members of the health-care community who utilize clinical decision making to formulate a field impression in order to provide basic and advanced life support. Paramedics are responsible for bringing life-saving diagnostic and treatment skills to the patient at the scene of an emergency. Paramedics receive intense training in EMT-Paramedic is recognized as an allied health occupation in which healthcare workers respond and provide immediate treatment to victims of illness or injury. As the highest level “out-of-hospital” healthcare provider, the paramedic acts as a team leader during an ambulance response to medical emergencies, rescue operations, mass casualty situations, and crime scenes. This is the second level for a career in Emergency Medical Services.

Paramedical Esthetician (Advanced Medical Skin Care Specialist)
Paramedical Estheticians work with plastic surgeons and dermatologists in pre-and postoperative skin care. Under the guidance of a licensed health care provider, they provide treatments that prepare the skin for surgery for a more comfortable healing process. In addition to studying techniques used in the medical community, students will study advanced skin care training marketable in spas and salons. Students will participate in a clinical setting to apply skills that have been acquired in the program. All students are required to complete at least 100 “services” as part of their practical training. A diploma will be awarded upon successful completion of this program.
