Located in New York City, The International Culinary Center's School of Italian Studies, offers aspiring Italian chefs one of the most well-rounded and authentic Italian culinary training available anywhere. With a curriculum designed and overseen by our dean, the acclaimed chef Cesare Casella, our flagship program, the Italian Culinary Experience, offers students the exciting option to live and train in both New York City and Italy.
Authenticity from Day One
The Italian Culinary Experience will forever change how you think about life and food by exposing you to the language, cuisine, and culture of Italy. In this intensive 29-week program, you'll train hands-on in New York City and Italy, learning the principles vital to an authentic understanding of Italian culinary techniques and traditions. In addition to practicing the skills necessary to hone your repertoire of dishes from each of Italy's 20 regions, this course gives you the chance to put your new skills to the test during a nine-week stage (internship) in the kitchen of one of Italy's top restaurants.
