This program will provide the education and training you need to secure a new and fulfilling career as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor. The program meets standards of the California Certification Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselors (CCBADC). After successfully completing the program, students are eligible to apply for the CCBADC written examination. Upon passing the exam, students receive the Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Intern status.

This 24.0 Semester Credit Hour (720 clock hours) program requires 30 weeks of training (days) and 40 weeks of training (nights), and provides the necessary knowledge and skills to compete in today's business environment. The program is designed to provide extensive "hands-on" training with today's most popular software programs included in Microsoft Office programs. Basic office administration skills are also incorporated into the program including business communication, general office, customer service, human resources, business law and accounting.

In this program, you’ll be provided with training in Microsoft Office applications to prepare for a career in accounts receivable/payable, payroll and other areas of accounting. Students are also instructed in preparing tax returns using TurboTax. Some career opportunities include:

In the Massage Therapy program, you’ll learn techniques to increase circulation, improve muscle tone and relax patients while receiving skills to assist you in a business environment. Completion of the program will provide students wiht the requisite information and skills to take the state exam.

You’ll receive comprehensive training in body structure and the functions of body systems, as well as learn various laboratory procedures and surgical assisting techniques.
