About Us
The Hudson Valley Barber Institute is conveniently located at 202 Wickham
Avenue, in the city of Middletown, NY, a central location for the entire Hudson
Valley. HVBI is a 2,400 square foot air-conditioned school located on the first floor of a modern building. HVBI’s practical area is equipped with barber chairs, mirrors, cabinets, a sink and a patron waiting area. The practical area is open to the public to provide students with hands-on training and experience

It is our goal and our honor to provide practical training and counseling necessary to inspire each student to get hands-on experience and pass a required state examination.

Hudson Valley Barber Institute is determined to help secure entry level
employment in a competitive industry. We also strive to provide an example
of leadership and encouragement to motivate students to establish themselves.

Our Barber College provides educational training in the barber profession by
meeting the NY state Department of Licensing and Regulation Department
requirements. Each student will learn as part of their training how to be
successful in the barber profession.

The college has a retail focus where out students provide low cost services to
customers. Services range from : shampooing, shaving, coloring, haircutting, scalp treatments, facial treatments, and many others. This service provides the general public with quality service while preparing our students with the skills for real world success.
