Multi-Media Makeup Artistry 160 clock hours
The Multi-Media Makeup Artistry program teaches the techniques that are demanded of todays makeup artists. Students master the basics of corrective makeup and go on to the more complex. Hands-on practice during makeup artist classes helps students refine their skills, develop confidence, and acquire the necessary knowledge to work in every facet of the industry: bridal, retail, print work, runway, music video, film and television.

A student who wishes to work in retail or freelance at weddings may elect to attend just the Multi-Media Program. For those looking for make up courses to go on to production work, the Fashion or Production Programs cover all the skills needed to be successful and work with models, photographers, actors, and other celebrities.
Production Makeup Artistry 490 clock hours
This is our master program and encompasses our entire curriculum: the Multi-Media Makeup Artistry and Fashion Makeup Artistry Programs and the course, "Makeup for Film & Television." This course focuses on character makeup and special effects and the film and television industries. Students use makeup to transform actors into characters. They learn aging, injury simulation, bald caps, hair work and other special effects techniques.
This course also prepares students to work with actors, models, photographers, and TV, video & film production companies. Graduates acquire the necessary skills to work in every media, and never turn down a job due to lack of training.
This program is for those interested in attending a special effects school. If a makeup artist wants to join the union, this program covers the knowledge, techniques, and on-set experience required for entry-level employment in the entertainment industry. It is consistent with the criteria required for membership in the major Makeup Artists & Hairstylists Union Locals.

Fashion Makeup Artistry 315 clock hours
With specific media makeup artist training and a first class portfolio, makeup artists can successfully work in the fashion industry. Twice a year, designers launch their new collections giving birth to new makeup trends and fueling the world of fashion and beauty. This class explores the intricacies of this work.
The first part of this program teaches essential makeup techniques. Next, the program covers all the skills needed to do makeup for print ads, catalogs, fashion magazines, music videos, and runway shows. Our make up school inspires students to work on speed and precision by mastering airbrushing techniques. The students acquire training in body art, hair design, and wardrobe styling. They learn how to work with a creative team of designers, art directors, and other production crew.
Students collaborate with a professional photographer and models in a variety of environments. In order to obtain industry bookings, a makeup artist must have a professional portfolio showing a variety of media looks. Students complete this segment with a diversified fashion portfolio.
