The CMU Adult Degree Program (ADP) draws from a rich history of experience in higher education. ADP’s educational model is designed to enable adult students to learn and retain knowledge as efficiently as possible. Associate of Science in Business
The Associate of Science in Business (ASB) program is designed to provide a practical business education along with a strong liberal arts foundation. Coursework covers diverse concepts such as introductory management, computer applications, written and oral communications, economics, critical thinking, accounting and art appreciation. ASB students will be able to apply the concepts and skills gained in this program to a variety of industries and will be well equipped to handle leadership challenges in today’s complex business environment.

Bachelor of Science in Business
The Bachelor of Science in Business (BSB) program provides a comprehensive business education that prepares graduates for a variety of high-level leadership roles. Coursework covers practical concepts such as communications, economics, marketing, statistics, business law, human resources, information systems, finance, accounting, international business and ethics. BSB graduates will be well prepared to make significant contributions to their organizations and communities.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is a program for registered nurses who are seeking to complete the BSN. The program is designed for registered nurses who have earned either associate degrees in nursing or diplomas in nursing and desire to advance personal and professional goals. The curriculum focuses on the health continuum across the life span of clients, including individuals, families and communities.

Bachelor of Science in Psychology
The Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BSP) program is designed to assist students in gaining an understanding of the science of human behavior and mental processes. Students will become familiar with research design as well as the contemporary research findings in the fields of abnormal psychology, counseling, social processes, personality, human development, biological psychology and applied psychology. The psychology major is often used as a foundation for professional training in counseling, law, ministry or graduate study in psychology.

The Master of Education
The Master of Education (MEd) program provides a focus on the teacher as a leader at the classroom, school and community level. A primary goal of the degree is to provide the professional educator with the skills and knowledge to identify educational issues and problems, to assess educational needs, and to develop appropriate strategies to meet the educational and leadership needs of the student, school and community.

Accelerated Format:
At CMU, courses are offered in a format designed specifically for working adults. In order to accommodate students busy schedules, classes are offered at several convenient locations. Plus, students can take one, four-hour evening class per week and complete a 3-credit course in 5-7 weeks. CMU’s one-time registration process is completed at the beginning of the student’s program.

Financial Aid:
Most ADP students are considered full time, which makes them eligible for full-time federal financial aid.
CMU participates in the Federal Stafford Loan Program, the Federal PLUS Loan and the Federal Pell Grant. Additionally, many employers offer tuition assistance. Each student has a personal financial aid counselor throughout the length of their programs to answer their financial aid questions.
