Digital Media
The Bachelor degree program in Digital Media offers students the opportunity to develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the use of digital media technology. With the increasing market demand for skilled media specialists, multimedia developers, digital media authoring specialists, web designers, audio/video engineers, and streaming media specialists, this curriculum offers a wide range of career opportunities for graduates. Throughout the program, students will learn concepts, techniques, and tools related to digital media design, interface design, audio/video editing, and web design. Project management, creative design, and communication skills are integrated throughout this dynamic curriculum.

Fashion Design
The Fashion Design program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the fashion design, retail, and merchandising industries. Draping, pattern drafting, computer design, and construction using industry-standard equipment are used to develop new concepts and to refine students' individual skills and talents.
Our curriculum can develop competent multitasking skills, integrating conceptual and creative abilities with technical and sound business practices that can prepare our students for successful professional careers in the fashion industry.
The Bachelor of Fine Arts program will provide instruction in greater depth and breadth than the associate degree program.
Performance Objectives:
Design Skills:Graduates can create fashion sketches and convert their design concepts into final constructions. They draft patterns, fabricate, drape, and tailor fabric into final, marketable garments.
Merchandising Skills: Graduates should apply merchandising and marketing concepts to their work, employing effective showroom and retail techniques in the display and sale of fashion. They understand the principals of visual merchandising, fashion marketing, and consumer behavior, and understand the quality and performance of textiles.
Communication and Critical Thinking Skills: Graduates should generate creative solutions to challenging assignments, demonstrating a clear understanding of project needs and marketing demands. Graduates can communicate ideas effectively through written and oral presentations of their work.

Game Design
The Bachelor degree program in Game Design provides training in principles and techniques used to create interactive 2D and 3D computer games. Students will learn design software, programming languages, modeling and animation skills, networking principles, level and world editors, and game engines used to design and develop games, and will examine market research and business concepts related to game production and distribution processes. Project management, creative design, and communication skills are integrated throughout this dynamic curriculum to prepare students for entry-level positions in the game design industry.

Graphic Design
The Graphic Design program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the commercial art, graphic design, and multimedia industries. Students can enhance basic drawing, design, and typographical skills to create professional, illustrative solutions to commercial design problems. Digital imaging, computer illustration, desktop publishing, and prepress skills are used to refine concepts and develop students' individual skills and talents. Graphic design and portfolio classes can prepare students for their internships and professional careers.
The Bachelor of Fine Arts program will provide instruction in greater depth and breadth than the associate degree program.
The BFA is designed to provide graduates with advanced skills in graphic design that should enable them to keep abreast of the changing and emerging technology and subsequent trends in the industry. Students can study in such advanced areas as litigation graphics, digital imaging and modeling, tradeshows, web design, and integrated projects that will not only involve finished design but will also focus on the entire design process, tracking of the process, and analysis of the goals and target audience. Application of both theory and principles of applied graphic design will be studied.

Design Skills: Graduates analyze and develop creative solutions to commercial design problems, and can convert their concepts into final, professional designs. They understand color and design principles, compositional needs, drawing techniques, computer imaging and illustration, desktop publishing and typography, and printing technology.
Professional Skills: Graduates should understand professional business practices in design, can communicate effectively with other designers, and can apply professional standards and regulations within their work. They are also familiar with current technology and software, and with the workings of a professional design studio.
Communication and Critical Thinking Skills: Graduates should generate creative solutions to challenging assignments, demonstrating a clear understanding of project needs and marketing demands. Graduates can communicate ideas effectively through written and oral presentations of their work, demonstrate effective problem-solving skills, and can create versatile designs for a variety of client needs.

Interior Design
The Interior Design program is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions in the interior design industry. Students can develop design concepts for interior spaces, and transform these concepts into practical, functional, and innovative environments to meet client needs. Architectural drafting, space planning, and computer-aided design are used to develop new concepts and to refine students' individual skills and talents. Building systems, regulations, and current business practices are taught to prepare students for their internships and professional careers in interior design.
The Academy's B.F.A. in Interior Design is intended to help students acquire both the practical skills required for hands-on design work and the management skills to become leaders. Students can develop design concepts for interior spaces, and transform these concepts into practical, functional, and innovative environments to meet client needs. They will use architectural drafting, space planning, and computer-aided design techniques as they refine individual skills and talents. Fashion Design
The Fashion Design curriculum integrates the changing face of the global fashion industry with conventional skills, giving a well-rounded background to both fashion novices and those with an established background. Students in this program have the opportunity to study a combination of traditional techniques as well as computer-based design, pattern drafting and manufacturing to stay current with the latest innovations in the field.

Graphic Design
The Graphic Design Program is designed to prepare students for an entry-level position in the exciting, evolving visual communications industry. Courses stress conceptualization and design capabilities, while practical, hands-on lab classes emphasize critical production skills.
The program begins with a core of basic skills and gradually builds to more advanced techniques including animation and multimedia. Students can develop skills using the equipment and software currently used in the field. The general education component of this program can enhance these technical skills by adding broad-based problem-solving and human-relations insights from other academic disciplines. Various business subjects are also integrated into the curriculum to provide additional structure and support. The program is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and skills necessary for employment in the Visual Communication industry and is taught at a professional level that provides for both job entry and future growth.
Graduates should possess the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain at least an entry-level position such as a graphic designer, web page developer, illustrator, production artist, layout artist, electronic designer and visual journalist.
A number of graduates may also find extremely rewarding careers working as free-lance designers. The employers in this field include advertising agencies, design studios, web site developers, corporate art departments, publishing houses, printing companies, newspaper and magazine publishers and full-service printing companies.

Interior Design
The Interior Design program is designed to provide a course of study that leads to the development of a professional that will be able to enhance the function and quality of interior spaces. Students graduating from this program should have an understanding that the intent of interior design is to improve the quality of life, increase productivity and protect health, safety and welfare of the public.
