Distinctive Programs:
 Our goal is to provide you with the most comprehensive, hands-on education possible, whether your passion is Cosmetology, Esthetics, Nail Tech, or Massage Therapy. We balance advanced, cuttingedge techniques with a solid foundation. You will know the rules and when to break them to get the desired result. We start with the leading textbook and add the newest trends (think hair extensions, multidimensional colors, mineral makeup, microdermabrasion, and natural products). Our curriculum is written by our own industry professional (she also has a degree in education). It was created and is continuously updated for the "right brained", creative student. We do not rely on one company (or one hair product manufacturer) to supply us with an "off the shelf" system as many other schools do. This could limit your exposure to a lot of great information and techniques.
Three Week Guarantee: We allow you to experience our program for three weeks before deciding if our school/industry is right for you. At another school you would likely owe thousands of dollars after three weeks. Ask for details.
Weekly Advanced Classes: At Capri you are not done learning after basics. Our weekly advanced technique classes build on basic skills to shape the professional you will become.
Optional Degree in Entrepreneurial Cosmetology: This is offered in cooperation with NICC, and is perfect for those who wish to own their own business someday.
Salon like practical training: Our student salon area is newly remodeled and professionally equipped. We work hard to bring in clients so you will be confident in your technical skills and soft skills (what makes a great stylist into a great success).
A unique system of goals and rewards (kinda like the real world): This includes our Master Program (Saturdays optional, professional dress, and other "perks".

 Massage Therapy
Our Massage Therapy program teaches you the most effective methods in stress management and pain relief through massage. The foundation of the program also promotes the psychological and physical health benefits of massage therapy.
From Swedish Massage to Eastern Shiatsu, you will learn a wide array of massage techniques that go above and beyond the basic shoulder rub technique. The deep tissue manipulations and touch therapies taught in the program give you a sound education in the healing art of Massage Therapy.
Obviously you will get plenty of hands-on training, but you will also study the theory behind the therapeutic benefits of massage therapy. Your in-depth education will cover the life sciences: human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and kinesiology. The Massage Therapy program at Capri College is a rigorous academic experience with intense hands-on training in a soothing, practical environment.

| Cosmetology
Capri's Cosmetology program takes a comprehensive training approach that covers the gamut of the Cosmetology Arts & Sciences. Not only will you develop cutting, styling and hair coloring techniques, but you will also learn the related sciences of skin care and makeup application. Due to our expansive clinic program you will be exposed to virtually every facet of the cosmetology field. Other topical areas you will explore are the areas of public relations, communication skills, and salon management.
The state of Iowa requires cosmetology students to graduate with 2,100 clock hours (70 credit hours)—the most in the country! What options are now before you?
Do you want to work alongside (or compete) with some of the world's leading cosmetology professionals? Take your Capri Cosmetology education to a bigger market such as Chicago, Minneapolis, or Los Angeles! You'll have more knowledge and experience than graduates from any other state.

| Nail Technology
Getting a manicure and/or pedicure is an affordable way for people to be pampered. Also, healthy, vibrant hands and nails can impact one's success within today's social and professional environment. That's where you come in. You can take advantage of this growing profession and flex your creative muscles in just 15 weeks.
But don't think the Nail Technology program is some walk-in-the-park. It's a comprehensive education that goes beyond manicures and pedicures covering nearly every facet of hand and foot nail care.
Included in the course are core life sciences, such as anatomy, physiology, chemistry, sanitation, and hygiene. Along with these disciplines, you will learn the specifics of artificial nail enhancements—gel nails, acrylic overlays, fiberglass and sculptured nail extensions—as well as nail art design and business management. (We pack a lot in 15 weeks.)
This sound basis will give you the background you will need to be successful in the nail business.

| Esthetics
Skin care is essential in the field of beauty, as well as in everyday life. And what you learn in the Esthetics program at Capri College will give you the cosmetic knowledge you will need for achievement in your professional career, while enhancing your own personal development.
You will start with the basic core life sciences, which include anatomy, physiology, skin histology and dermatology. Then you move on to demonstrations and practice that will introduce you to the exciting spa world of skin care treatments, facial massages, hydration, exfoliation, light therapies, and body wraps. Finalize all these treatments with systematic and creative make-up applications. That's always the fun part! Then it's hands-on time when you will apply your creative talents and newfound knowledge in a clinical setting. Capri's busy clinic environment allows you real life experiences and hands-on practice in making clients feel pampered and beautiful.
