Bay Vista College of Beauty is a Sassoon Academy School Connection Member with an elite instructional team that provides its students with the finest technical education in hair design. The Spa Nail Technician program boasts CND products and the students are taught the most advanced techniques in the nail industry. We have also partnered with Make-Up Designory to offer their 150-hour “Beauty Make-Up Artistry” training course.
Renovated in 2007, the Academy clinic has a new look and feel that provides students with a real world salon experience. Students begin to master technical and practical procedures in our state-of-the-art “freshman room” which is fully stocked with the latest equipment and supplies.
After the freshman room, the students graduate to the student clinic where they have an opportunity to work with real clientele. The school has a large vibrant clinic for the Cosmetology and the Spa Nail Technician students. In addition, the academy has a retail area that allows students to focus in on their sales and marketing skills. Our academy is highly respected for our high post graduation job placement and licensure rates.
Our Programs
Cosmetology
We deliver an unsurpassed cosmetology education by incorporating The ABC Sassoon School Curriculum with our innovative styling and finishing techniques. This combination ensures that you receive superior education in cutting and coloring. Our customized 1600-hour cosmetology training is one of the most comprehensive course in the nation and includes professional training in all aspects of the beauty industry. Our dynamic instructors continue to evolve with the industries hottest trends and pass their insight and connections along to their students.
Make Up Artistry
We have partnered with the internationally acclaimed Make-Up Designory (M.U.D.) to offer their 150-hour “Beauty Make-Up Artistry” training course. We are one of the only academies outside of New York and Los Angeles to offer a professional make-up course at this level. The course finishes with a professional photo shoot to help the students start their personal professional portfolio and begin their career in the exciting field of cosmetics and make-up artistry. Graduates leave equipped with all of the professional brushes, M.U.D. make-up and artistry tools required to perform theatrical, airbrush and professional make up applications.
Spa Nail Technology
Our 600-hour Spa Nail Technician course is the first in the nation to go beyond the basics of manicuring and add the spa treatment training that is demanded by luxury salons and spas.
Our academies use CND products and the students are taught the most advanced techniques in the nail industry. We provide many forms of manicure and pedicure training so the student is able to obtain a desirable position upon obtaining a license.

Mission Statement
Our mission and educational objectives of our training programs are:
- To produce graduates who are successful and remain in careers in cosmetology arts and sciences, the massage field, and/or related fields.
- To constantly update programs so graduates can remain competitive in their chosen field.
- To promote the continuing educational growth of the faculty, using current teaching and techniques.
- To prepare the student to successfully pass the state exam (when required) for entry level employment – or – to prepare the student to be successfully certified by the academy (when state exam is not applicable).
