When St. Edward's University was founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1885, there were only three students attending classes. In the years since, the school has grown into an independent Catholic university educating over 5,000 students of diverse ages, backgrounds, and beliefs, in the liberal arts.
With nearly 60 areas of study available, this Texas college offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in a number of fields. Master's degrees are attainable in business administration, arts in human services, liberal arts, science in organizational leadership and ethics, and arts in counseling -- to name a few. Undergraduate degree programs at St. Edward's University, meanwhile, range from history, graphic design, forensic science and photocommunications, to social work, religious studies, criminal justice, and computer science.
St. Edward's University also offers pre-professional programs in law, physical therapy, engineering, dentistry, and medicine, as well as education certifications for elementary, secondary, and bilingual/bicultural schooling. |
