Founded over 60 years ago, Fairleigh Dickinson University is now the largest private university in New Jersey. Accommodating over 10,000 students from across the globe, the school has grown to provide more than 100 associate, bachelor's, and master's degree programs, as well as doctoral programs in psychology. This private university also offers combined degree programs that allow students to complete both their bachelor's and master's degree in as little as five years.
Unlike some other colleges, Fairleigh Dickinson University provides two unique college campuses to choose from. The College of Florham is located near historic Morristown, and is considered to have a small-college feel with only 3,500 students attending. Fairleigh Dickinson University's Metropolitan Campus in Teaneck, meanwhile, offers a suburban environment with a student body of nearly 6,000. It's also located a mere 10 miles from New York City. For students who want to learn outside of the U.S. though, this New Jersey college also consists of Wroxton College, located in Oxfordshire, England, and FDU-Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada.
Despite a large enrollment however, Fairleigh Dickinson University boasts a student-faculty ratio of 14 to 1, and an average class size of 18 students. |
