Emory University
201 Dowman Drive
Atlanta, GA 30322
Located just 15 minutes from downtown Atlanta in the tree-lined suburban neighborhood of Druid Hills, Emory University is positioned along the Clifton Corridor, which also includes the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Cancer Society.

One of the most popular Atlanta colleges, Emory University is home to nine major academic divisions, numerous centers for advanced study, and a host of prestigious affiliated institutions. In addition to Emory College, the University encompasses a graduate school of arts and sciences; professional schools of medicine, theology, law, nursing, public health, and business; and Oxford College, a two-year undergraduate division on the original campus of Emory in Oxford, GA.

Emory University is enriched by the legacy and energy of Atlanta, whose downtown is located 15 minutes away. There are 12,134 students enrolled at Emory, about half pursuing undergraduate degrees in the liberal arts, nursing, or business and the rest enrolled in graduate and professional programs. A palpable sense of community and social connection exists on campus; and because of Emory's size, students are nurtured in a way not possible at larger institutions.

Emory University has a long tradition of emphasizing fine teaching. The school was founded by the Methodist Church in 1836 at Oxford, Georgia, where Oxford College of Emory still operates.
