With the first students admitted to Edison College in the fall of 1962, Edison College celebrates 41 years of service to Southwest Florida this year. Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees are offered at Edison College, as well as various certificate programs. Edison College's purpose is to deliver high-quality, convenient, and affordable learning opportunities to diverse populations. In order to fulfill its purpose, it's the junior college's mission to strive for excellence through innovation and continuous improvement as it provides general and pre-profession education, workforce development programs and certificates of training for employment in specialized fields.
