As a co-educational, Christian institution of learning, Eastern University is home to four unique learning levels, allowing students to study as members of the undergraduate, graduate, seminary, or accelerated adult programs. Although this Pennsylvania college is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches, USA, the school is attended by an interdenominational student body.
Comprised of several different schools that are located throughout the state of Pennsylvania -- as well as in Washington, D.C., and West Virginia -- Eastern University is able to offer a variety of programs and courses to students. At the School of Arts and Sciences, for example, students may choose from over 30 majors and nearly 40 minors; while at the Campolo College of Graduate and Professional Studies, students are offered accelerated adult degree completion, certificate, and master's degree programs. As for students who attend the Palmer Theological Seminary in West Virginia, they can choose from the school's dual-degree and ministry programs or the doctor of ministry degree.
Overall, Eastern University boasts a student body of nearly 4,000 individuals, and a student-faculty ratio of 15 to one. |
