Founded in 1904, Assumption College is a private, Catholic college accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Assumption College offers a liberal arts or pre-professional education with a strong emphasis on faith and personal development.

Students at Assumption College can choose from more than 35 undergraduate programs in the arts, fine arts, social sciences, natural sciences, business, and humanities. Students can enrich their education through enrollment in the honors program, study abroad opportunities, and internships. At the graduate level, Assumption College offers a Master of Business Administration along with Master of Arts degrees in counseling and special education.

Assumption College is an NCAA Division II school with 10 men's teams and 11 women's teams competing at the varsity level. Students can also participate in a wide range of campus activities including academic clubs, performing arts, student media, spiritual groups, and club sports. Assumption College students are also extremely active in the community, contributing nearly 100,000 hours of service annually through service, student teaching, and internships.
