Waycross College is a two-year college within the University System of Georgia. Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Waycross College offers developmental education opportunities for students who need extra preparation and transfer courses that can be applied toward advanced study at a four-year institution.
Students at Waycross College can pursue an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or Associate of Applied Science degree through a wide variety of programs, including business administration, criminal justice, psychology, pre-nursing, computer science, and education. An Associate of Science in Nursing degree is also offered in cooperation with South Georgia College. Certificate programs in teaching, accounting, and general business are available as well. Students can also complete their bachelor's degree on the Waycross College campus through partnerships with Savannah State University, Georgia Southwestern State University, and Albany State University.
Waycross College students can participate in more than a dozen organizations on campus, including student government, the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, campus publications, and a study abroad program. Child care services, career counseling, and academic advising are available as well.
