Vermont State Colleges is a state college system comprising Castleton State College, Community College of Vermont, Johnson State College, Lyndon State College, and Vermont Technical College. The Vermont State Colleges are accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
Castleton College offers more than 30 majors in the liberal arts, sciences, and professional studies. Community College of Vermont is an open-admissions college providing a two-year education through its 12 learning centers and online courses. Johnson State College offers more than 30 degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, along with 11 teacher licensure programs. The associate and bachelor's degree programs at Lyndon State College provide a hands-on education with a liberal arts foundation. Vermont Technical College offers associate and bachelor's degree programs in more than 20 technical fields. Continuing education and external degree programs are also available for adult students.
