Founded over 90 years ago, Saint Paul College in Minnesota is dedicated to serving its students as a comprehensive technical and community college. Although Saint Paul College was originally housed in local high schools, it has long since undergone expansion, moving to 30-acre campus in the process.
In addition to increasing its physical presence, this Minnesota community college has also increased its presence in community members' lives by increasing the number and reach of its programs. While Saint Paul College traces its history back to the 1910 school that trained men in the building trades, today the college has grown to include a number of different career training programs, as well as traditional liberal arts courses.
Students who attend Saint Paul College may choose to pursue a number of certificate and diploma courses including, clockmaking, welding, reflexology, fuel cell technology, and web design. The community college also offers a number of associate degree programs -- a number of which give students the opportunity to transfer to a four-year college or university in order to complete the last two years of a traditional bachelor's degree program. Associate degree programs cover such disciplines as computer science, engineering technology, practical nursing, philosophy, and theatre.

Various programs within the school have been approved by outside additional institutions. These accredited programs cover such subjects and disciplines as, the culinary arts, practical nursing, medical laboratory technology, and electronic technology.
Students who are unable to attend class on-campus may choose to enroll in Saint Paul College's distance education programs.
