Queens College in Flushing, New York, is part of the City University of New York (CUNY). One of CUNY's largest senior colleges, Queens College is nationally recognized for its liberal arts and sciences and pre-professional programs.

Founded in 1937, Queens College became part of CUNY in 1961. Queens College offers over 115 undergraduate and graduate majors across four divisions, including Arts and Humanities, Education, Social Sciences, and Mathematics and the Natural Sciences. Both day and evening courses are offered during a winter session and four summer sessions.

Queens College also offers a variety of nontraditional programs. The Adult College Education (ACE) awards college credit for life achievement to qualified students over the age of 25. Worker Education supports returning students who are union members. The Weekend College provides a flexible schedule for students who have full-time jobs and/or family obligations. For personal and professional development, the Continuing Education Program offers non-credit courses in a variety of disciplines.

A commuter college, Queens College is situated on 77 acres of trees and grassy open spaces in a residential area of Flushing, and is only 20 minutes from Manhattan. Courses are also offered at numerous off-campus locations, including the CUNY Center for Higher Education in downtown Flushing.

Queens College is accredited by the State of New York and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.
