When Peninsula College first opened its door more than 40 years, classes were taught on the grounds of the Port Angeles High School. In the years since, this community college has grown to encompass a 75-acre campus close to the Olympic Mountains and extension sites in Forks and Port Townsend, Washington.

In order to better serve its students, this Washington community college offers a variety of programs and degree levels. From skills and certificate courses to associate and bachelor's degree programs, there's a vast array of educational options at Peninsula College. Students who are interested in starting new careers or increasing their credentials in their current field, will find that certificate courses are available in such areas as massage therapy, medical assisting, pre-radiology technology, food service management, and woodworking/homebuilding.

As for students who are interested in one day transferring to a four-year university or college, they'll be happy to know that this Washington community college offers several associate degree transfer programs that facilities entry into a bachelor's degree program into a traditional higher learning institution.
