Although founded in 1964 as a Catholic junior college and secretarial school for women, Marian Court College has since developed into a comprehensive two-year institution of higher learning that serves both males and females alike. Today the Massachusetts community college has a student population of 350 while still boasting a student-faculty ratio of 12 to one, and an average class size of 15.
Students who attend Marian Court College may choose from an array programs that will result in the awarding of an Associate of Science degree. Subjects and disciplines currently offered include: fashion merchandising, healthcare administration, criminal justice administration, marketing, paralegal studies, sports management, liberal studies, computer forensics, and more. Students may also choose to enroll in one of this Massachusetts community college's six certificate programs. Covering fields like accounting and medical office administration, credits earned in these courses may be applied towards earning an associate degree from Marian Court College at a later date.
Thanks to this Marian Court College's transfer and joint admissions agreements with traditional four-year colleges and universities, students who successfully complete an associate degree program will more easily be able to transfer.
