Founded by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in 1971, Maharishi University of Management provides a "Consciousness-Based Education" that integrates traditional learning with transcendental meditation. Accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, its mission is to promote the holistic development of students by focusing on creativity, learning ability, and the ability to relate to others.
Maharishi University of Management offers bachelor's degree programs in business, computer science, education, literature, fine arts, and the sciences; its most popular program is the Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Living. At the graduate level, students can complete a master's degree in business administration, computer science, education, and Maharishi Vedic Science. Doctoral programs in Maharishi Vedic Science and Management are also available.
The unique course structure at Maharishi University of Management allows students to take our course at a time for four weeks each. The 50,000-square-foot student center qualifies for LEED certification for energy efficiency. Students can attend a wide variety of campus events or participate in recreational sports including gymnastics, rock climbing, and windsurfing.
