Leeward Community College (LCC) sits on 49 scenic acres near the geographic center of Oahu between Pearl City and Waipahu. Since it opened its doors in 1968, Leeward Community College has flourished and become one of the largest community colleges in Hawaii. For instance, LCC has an Intensive English program that allows students to improve their command of the English language for educational, professional, or personal purposes. Leeward Community College also offers its students many opportunities to study abroad. LCC students can spend anywhere from two weeks to an entire school year studying in almost any country on Earth and earning college credit for it.
