Leeward Community College (LCC) sits on 49 scenic acres near the geographic center of Oahu between Pearl City and Waipahu. Since it opened its doors in 1968, Leeward Community College has flourished and become one of the largest community colleges in Hawaii. Leeward Community College offers a wide selection of fields for its students to explore, enabling them to challenge themselves as they pursue their dreams. From earning an associate degree, to following entrepreneurial aspirations to exploring personal interests, Leeward Community College students can reach their goals.
Unique learning experiences are available at Leeward Community College. For instance, LCC has an Intensive English program that allows students to improve their command of the English language for educational, professional, or personal purposes. Cultural excursions enrich the academic components of this program at Leeward Community College, bringing both American and Hawaiian culture to life for its students. Leeward Community College also offers its students many opportunities to study abroad. LCC students can spend anywhere from two weeks to an entire school year studying in almost any country on Earth and earning college credit for it. Whether LCC students want to go away to learn about themselves for awhile or come to the campus of Leeward Community College to continue their education, the faculty and staff of Leeward Community College are willing and eager to make the educational experiences of its students useful and rewarding.
