Johnson & Wales University is a private, coeducational, career-focused university accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Founded as a business school in 1914, this Rhode Island school now offers a hands-on education in business, hospitality, culinary arts, or technology.
Johnson & Wales University is spread out over four campuses in Providence, North Miami, Denver, and Charlotte. All four campuses offers associate and bachelor's degree programs through the College of Business, the Hospitality College, and the College of Culinary Arts. The Providence campus is the largest and most comprehensive, with more than 50 degree programs offered, including master's degrees in business and education. The Providence campus is also home to the School of Education, School of Technology, the John Hazen White School of Arts & Sciences, and the Alan Shawn Feinstein Graduate School.
Johnson & Wales University is an NCAA Division III school with over 15 men's and women's teams. Students can also participate in a thriving Greek life or join unique clubs like ice carving, brewing, and pastry arts.
