Gannon University is a private, Catholic, comprehensive, co-educational institution. This Erie, Pennsylvania, college offers each student a value-centered education in both liberal arts and professional specializations, awarding associate, bachelor's, and master's, and doctoral degrees, as well as certificates.

Gannon University's Core of Discovery program is a liberal arts core curriculum that leads students to an understanding of humanity, social concepts, and their own ethics and values. The university's Lifecore presents events and activities that encompass numerous lifestyle dimensions and encourage growth and development.

Students come from diverse religious backgrounds, but Gannon University remains grounded in the Catholic tradition. Students take two theology courses to help them recognize the importance of faith and to allow them to integrate to help them appreciate the Judeo-Christian theological values into professional and personal decisions.

Undergraduate degrees are awarded in the College of Humanities, Business and Education and the College of Science, Engineering and Health Science. Gannon University offers more than 20 graduate programs. One out of every four students at Gannon University is pursing a graduate degree.

Gannon University is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.
