The roots of the Franklin Beauty School date back to 1915 in San Antonio, Texas when Madame N.A. Franklin started teaching hair care and beauty to black women in their own homes. Today, the family-owned and operated beauty school is located in Houston, Texas, within MacGregor Plaza Shopping Center. The school uses its 10,000 square feet for training space, classrooms, clinic areas, and a library. Franklin Beauty School offers its students a highly competitive, hands-on education in cosmetology and the art and culture of beauty.
