Dating back to 1989, ETI Technical College of Niles was a branch of ETI Technical College of Cleveland. In 1992, the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology, and the Department of Education labeled ETI Technical College of Niles as an independent institution. Today, ETI Technical College of Niles is able to present students with both degrees and diplomas.
Students who attend ETI Technical College of Niles may choose to study one of nine degree programs. Programs include electronic engineering, computerized office, web design, accounting, medical assistant, medical secretary, legal assistant, criminal correction, and information technology. Each degree program at ETI Technical College of Niles lasts 75 weeks and is taught by well-qualified instructors who have ample experience in their respective fields. Diploma programs at the ETI Technical College of Niles include heating and cooling, electronics, computerized office, and medical assistant. The computerized office technology program is the longest course, running for 45 weeks, 56 credit hours, or 1,125 clock hours.
The ETI Technical College of Niles also offers an adult education for those who are interested in real estate, real estate policies and G.E.D classes. The real estate classes may be taken individually and each class has its own focus. Some focuses include real estate appraisal, real estate finance, real estate law, and real estate principles and practices. Students who pass the real estate policies course can take the Real Estate Exam. The four-course program costs approximately $6.65 per class hour. The ETI Technical College of Niles also offers a free G.E.D. preparation course. Classes are held Monday through Wednesday and students must be withdrawn from elementary or secondary school before enrolling in this course.
