Dalton Beauty College educates students to be cosmetologists, manicurists and cosmetology instructors. Students receive individualized attention, learn the latest techniques, and get hands-on experience with the equipment they will use in their respective beauty professions. Dalton Beauty College offers programs in cosmetology, nail technology, and instructor trainee. The cosmetology program is 1,500 hours over the course of 10 to 12 months. These courses prepare students for careers in a related field or to be licensed cosmetologists. The nail technology program consists of 600 hours of study over five to six months. The courses cover a basic understanding of manicuring, practical application of artificial nails, and students acquire manicuring and pedicure skills for employment in a beauty salon or nail shop. With this program, students can have a career as licensed nail technicians or work in a related field. The instructor trainee program provides teaching techniques to licensed cosmetologists to help them become effective instructors.
