Located in Neosho, Missouri, Crowder College is a two-year institution of higher learning that is devoted to aiding the community through the education and training of its members. To aid in its service to students, Crowder College has outreach locations in Cassville, Nevada, and Webb City.

Depending upon the program they enroll in, students may earn either a certificate, Associate of Arts, or Associate of Science degree. Currently the Missouri community college offers everything from courses in business accounting, administration, computer science, veterinary technology, environmental science, and history, to classes in automotive technology, fire science, theatre, law enforcement, construction technology, and diesel technology.

Thanks to Crowder College's specially designed associate of science degree programs in alternative energy, nursing, and pre-engineering, students may -- after receiving their associate degree through the community college -- remain on campus and continue their education, earning a bachelor of applied science degree from Missouri State University.

• Crowder College has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association and the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary education and the Coordinating Board for Higher Education.


• Individual programs within the school have been approved by outside institutions. For example, the Missouri State Board of Nursing and the National Institute for Automotive Excellence (ASE) have expressed approval of related programs at Crowder College.


• Crowder College is a member of the Missouri Community College Association and the American Association of Community Colleges.


• This Missouri community college is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association with students participating in the following athletics: baseball, basketball, softball, and coed spirit club.


• Crowder College offers continuing education courses in areas such as, computers, paralegal training, cake decorating, and digital photography.
