Cook Street School of Fine Cooking's cutting edge, 3,000 square foot kitchen is centrally located in Denver, Colorado's historic LoDo district. Cook Street School's facilities optimize each student's educational experience. Classes begin with lectures and note taking, and then students work on the day's menu. The school's kitchen includes commercial grade gas cook tops, professional Combi oven, granite demonstration island with halogen burners, and a separate baking and pastry kitchen, including a custom-built wood-fired bread oven.
Cook Street School of Fine Cooking's five month professional program prepares students through extensive hands-on training. During the program, students prepare a complete meal each day, in the culinary traditions of Italy and France. Cook Street students learn fundamental and technical skills needed for successful culinary careers. The programs curriculum consists of culinary arts, pastry, bread, wine, and table service courses. For additional culinary knowledge and skills, students can participate in the study abroad program at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners.
