The Connecticut School of Dog Grooming is located in the North Haven Shopping Center, in North Haven, Connecticut. The school's facility and classroom is equipped with modern equipment, including six grooming stations in the classroom area. Students enrolled at the Connecticut School of Dog Grooming receive a solid foundation of knowledge and the skills for a successful career in the dog grooming field.

The Connecticut School of Dog Grooming offers courses in introduction to dog grooming, proper use and care of equipment, bathing and grooming techniques, advanced moneymakers, styling techniques, professional scissoring, advanced use of snap-on combs, and business management. The school also offers a mobile grooming internship, field trips, and supplemental textbooks/videos. With this course of study, students participate in classes such as heritage of dog grooming, breed recognition, dog anatomy, behavioral therapy, introduction to grooming tools, sanitation/sterilization/care of equipment, the six basics, rough cut, bath, final cut and an assortment of other classes to ensure students acquire the art of dog grooming.
