Located on the edge of the San Joaquin Valley that lies between Los Angeles and San Francisco, the College of the Sequoias has a history that traces back to 1926. Over the years, the school has developed from a junior college into a two-year institution of higher learning. Providing students with the education they need to succeed, this California community college also offers a variety of vocation and recreational programs and courses that can be taken either to improve employability or simply enhance one's skills and hobbies.
At the College of the Sequoias students can choose to earn anything from a vocation certificate to a conventional two-year associate degree. Students of the community college are even able to apply certain class credits earned towards transfer to a traditional four-year college or university. From courses in accounting, animal science, drama, electrician training, and meteorology, to classes in automotive technology, dairy science, architecture, cinema arts, and sport medicine, there's something to meet most any student's career needs at the College of the Sequoias.
