Originally established in 1889 as the Cincinnati Training School for Nurses, the College of Nursing at the University of Cincinnati has grown to provide training for both undergraduates and graduate students. Located in Cincinnati, Ohio, the mission of the Ohio nursing school is to nurture and develop nursing leaders who will be empowered to apply their knowledge to the constantly-changing healthcare field.

The College of Nursing at the University of Cincinnati offers programs to undergraduates and graduate students. Undergraduate freshmen are admitted to the pre-nursing program and can then apply to the nursing major. This academic track culminates in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Registered nurses interested in receiving their BSN can apply to the RN to BSN program.

At the graduate level, the Ohio nursing school offers a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). This is offered through the University of Cincinnati's division of research and advanced study. This program is designed to prepare students to work in leadership and management roles in healthcare. The College of Nursing at the University of Cincinnati also offers a doctoral program.
