  • Founded in 1873 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame (SSND), College of Notre Dame of Maryland was the first Catholic college for women to award the four-year baccalaureate degree.

  • Through a special program, EXTRA Scholarships (for EXceptional TRAnsfer students), any student who has completed an associate's degree at an accredited community college and maintained an overall GPA of at least 3.2 is guaranteed a scholarship of at least $6,000 for full time study at Notre Dame.
