Located just 15 miles south of Atlanta, Clayton State University is part of the University of Georgia system of higher education. This Georgia college offers more than 30 baccalaureate degree programs and four graduate programs, all of which encourage students of varied interests and backgrounds to pursue their academic and professional goals.
Undergraduates at Clayton State University are able to choose from dozens of programs in business, nursing, arts and sciences, information and mathematic sciences, and professional studies. Majors range from accounting and criminal justice to theatre and marketing. Clayton State University also offers associate degree programs in a number of areas that include information technology, paralegal studies, and drafting and design.
In 2006, Clayton State University introduced its first graduate programs, offering a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies. Graduate programs in nursing and health administration soon followed. In 2007, the Georgia college commenced its MBA program, which has an accelerated format that allows working adults to earn a degree in 20 months.
