Clarksburg Beauty Academy is located in Clarksburg, West Virginia, and was founded in 1966, by Dominick A. Policano. The Policano family continues to own and operate the West Virginia school. The Clarksburg Beauty Academy facility includes classrooms equipped with the latest technology in teaching methods, as well as a full service clinic with individual workstations that emulate the salon experience. The West Virginia school's massage facility includes private massage rooms, modern massage tables and equipment.

Cosmetology classes at Clarksburg Beauty Academy begin monthly, covering 2,000 hours of instruction over a 60-week period. Students learn a variety of techniques and skills, including hair relaxing, manicuring, hair coloring, facials, and salon management and salesmanship. The West Virginia school's nail technology program offers classes that begin monthly, including 400 hours of instruction during a 12-week period. Students learn anatomy in beauty culture, hygiene methods, manicuring, pedicuring, advanced nail techniques, electricity and light therapy.

Massage therapy classes at Clarksburg Beauty Academy begin every three months and cover 600 hours of instruction in 18 weeks. Students in the program learn Swedish massage techniques, shiatsu, reflexology, hydrotherapy, connective tissue massage, neuromuscular therapy, and anatomy and physiology.
