The Carolina School of Broadcasting, founded in 1957, is a comprehensive institution offering a programs in the broadcasting fields. The Carolina School of Broadcasting offers a broadcast communications technology program, which provides students with an extensive curriculum in the broadcasting field.

The curriculum at CSB provides students with the opportunity to gain knowledge in such areas as communication, news writing, linear editing, sales marketing, promotion and much more. The broadcasting curriculum also offers students with hands-on practical experience through lab and internship opportunities.

Students at CSB can prepare for a number of careers in the broadcasting industry such as broadcast technicians, reporters and correspondents, producers and directors, general and operations managers, camera operators and much more.

The Carolina School of Broadcasting facility is located the beautiful city of Charlotte in North Carolina on more than two acres of scenic land. Students at CSB can take advantage of the state-of-the-art facility, which offers video edit suites, a classroom and resources library, a television studio and much more.

In addition to the comprehensive programs offered at the Carolina School of Broadcasting, students can also take advantage of the numerous recreational, cultural and historical attractions in the city of Charlotte. The city of Charlotte, located in the piedmont region is burgeoning with activities and attractions. Students of CSB can take advantage of numerous restaurants, museums, art galleries, great shopping and more. Some attractions include the Charlotte Nature Museum, the Charlotte Symphony, the Elder Art Gallery and others. Additionally, the state of North Carolina offers numerous regions such as the coast, the mountains and piedmont.
