The Carolina Academy is a comprehensive institution offering a diverse range of programs in the cosmetology field. Programs offered at the Carolina Academy include a cosmetology program as well as a skin care program. Carolina Academy is a Paul Mitchell Partner School where each program consists of an individual curriculum and time schedule. Programs at Carolina are offered in the day and evening, adding convenience and flexibility to student schedules.

The cosmetology program curriculum gives students the opportunity to gain knowledge in areas such as hair coloring, bleaching, frosting, anatomy, physiology, chemistry and much more. The skin academy curriculum includes areas such as aromatherapy, physiology, histology of skin, reflexology and more.

The Carolina Academy is located in a state-of-the-art facility spanning more than 14,000-square-feet in the city of Gastonia in North Carolina.

In addition to the comprehensive programs offered at the Carolina Academy, students can also take advantage of the numerous recreational, cultural and historical attractions in the Gastonia area. The city of Gastonia is within close proximity to the city of Charlotte which is burgeoning with activities and attractions. Students can take advantage of numerous restaurants, museums and art galleries, great shopping and more. Some attractions include the Charlotte Nature Museum, the Charlotte Symphony, the Elder Art Gallery and more. North Carolina also offers several regions, including a mountainous reagion and the coast.
