Caribbean University is a higher education institution dedicated to academic excellence. It strives to provide undergraduate, graduate, and working professionals with the opportunity to experience a rich education. Undergraduate majors include business administration, education, criminal justice, social work, computer sciences, civil, industrial, and electrical engineering, as well as speech therapy. Caribbean University also confers a Master's of Science degrees in nursing with area specialties. This university in Puerto Rico recently initiated a philosophy program at the doctorate level.
In addition to traditional undergraduate and graduate degree programs, Caribbean University offers a variety of vocational and professional degree programs, including four degree programs in beauty and cosmetology. At the continuing education level for working professionals wishing to continue their academic degree, Caribbean University offers courses in writing, computer training, photography, sign language, English, business administration, and beauty. To help transition new students and provide guidance to current ones, Caribbean University has an active student services center, offering academic guidance, advice, and career planning.
