Career Tech Center is a comprehensive institution, offering a wide range of programs in a variety of occupational disciplines. Career Tech programs include early childhood education, cosmetology, computer programming, web programming and design, medical careers technology, auto mechanics and much more.

Each program offered at Career Tech Center is comprised of an individual curriculum and time schedule. Through the cosmetology program Career Tech students will have the opportunity to gain knowledge in areas such as hair color, theory of massage, properties of the hair and scalp and more. Through the health science technology program, Career Tech students have an opportunity to gain knowledge in areas such as blood bourne pathogen skills, nutrition and nutrition disorders, the assessment of the trauma patients and much more.

Career Tech Center is located in Traverse City in Michigan. On campus, Career Tech students can take advantage of state-of-the- art facilities as well a numerous clubs and students organizations. Student organizations include Health Occupations Students of America, the National Technical Honor Society, the Michigan Industrial Technology Education Society and more. Unique facilities on campus at Career Tech include the World Class Cafe, managed by the CTC culinary arts program, which is a full service restaurant. Career Tech Center also offers numerous benefits accessible to students including apprenticeship, work exploration, cooperative education and more.

Students at Career Tech can also take advantage of the numerous opportunities and a wide array of activities in Traverse City in Michigan. Traverse City is home to numerous cultural recreational historical attractions. Area attractions include the Elks Rapids Historical Museum, the City Opera House, the Old Mission Point Lighthouse, wineries, beaches and more.
