California State University East Bay is a comprehensive liberal arts institution offering undergraduate, graduate, continuing education programs and more in a variety of disciplines. California State University offers more than 40 Bachelor degree programs in areas such as environmental studies, international business, women's studies, modern languages and literature and much more. Graduate programs are offered in areas such as biological science, anthropology, social work and more.
California State University East Bay has several campus locations in California adding convenience and flexibility for students. The main campus is located in scenic city of Hayward. Other campus locations are in Concord and Oakland.
The scenic Hayward campus offers numerous state-of-the-art facilities accessible to students. Among them are the University Library, which offers numerous electronic databases, print volumes and many additional resources. Other facilities include the C.E. Smith Museum of Anthropology, the Pioneer Amphitheatre, the Early Childhood Center and more.
Students can take advantage of a diverse range of both on-and off-campus activities at the California State University East Bay. Intercollegiate athletics programs are offered for both men and women. Some of the program include baseball, basketball, volleyball, water polo, swimming and others. Also accessible to students are more than 90 clubs and organizations such as the Criminal Justice Club, the Chinese Students Scholar Club, the Cumming Earth Science Club and many more.
Not only are there numerous on-campus activities, but a plethora of off-campus recreational, cultural and historical attractions as well. The city of Hayward is located close to the bay. Students can enjoy numerous festivals, galleries and restaurants. The city of Oakland is also within close proximity offering numerous attractions as well. Some include the Cabot Space and Science Center, scenic Lake Merritt, parks and much more.
